Our trip to Menorca in the late weeks of July proved to be rather excellent. Soaking up the heat of the sun, and occasionally dipping in the pool, it felt like a dream come true. There is no better way to spend a holiday than by the pool, right? The reflection of sun rays bouncing off of the water like gazelles being hunted. It was glorious. The way everybody is so chilled, almost as if they don't have a care in the world. Menorca was wonderful. I have to say the best part of it was definitely the nightlife. Strolling down to the marina, just as the sun was setting on the horizon, and getting a snippet of Spanish life. Experiencing so many new things, including the delicacy, that is of course, Tapas. You cannot go to Spain without getting a real taste of the culture, without hearing at least one Spanish guitar based piece of music. Its practically impossible. I must say, it was a pretty spectacular week. Even if it did take a lifetime to come around.

  1. Good attempt at using imagery - I like gazelles and they have connotations of grace and speed but do we want to think of them being hunted in association with this place? What does that say about it? So choose your imagery carefully to create the impression of the place that you want the audience to have.
